Director of museum sacked after naked women performance in Bishkek museum — Minister of Culture

AKIPRESS.COM - Director of the National Museum of Fine Arts named after Gapar Aitiev Mira Jangaracheva has been sacked after a performance of naked women as part of the international exhibition, Minister of Culture, Information and Tourism Azamat Jamankulov said today. "The order on her dismissal was signed in the morning," he said.
The 1st Feminnale of Contemporary Art international exhibition is held at the National Museum of Fine Arts named after Gapar Aitiev since November 27.
The Ministry of Culture has made a statement after the event claiming not compliance with the initial goal of the exhibition.
