Lawmaker offers to check number of trees planted in Kyrgyzstan

AKIPRESS.COM - MP Isa Omurkulov proposed to make a working trip of the SDPK party to check how many trees were planted in Kyrgyzstan.
According to Deputy Director of the State Agency for Environmental Protection of Forestry Eldiyar Sheripov, the trees were planted on 1,500 ha of land in 2018 and on 2,700 ha in 2019.
They were planted in Chui forestry, he noted.
"I am sure that 95% of these is a false reporting. I did not see any tree," Omurkulov said.
