Over 3,000 women entrepreneurs to obtain concessional loans in Uzbekistan

AKIPRESS.COM - Some 3,112 women in Uzbekistan will be able to start or expand business due to the local investment projects for some $10.7 million. Some $9 million will be provided in form of concessional loans from the public foundation for support of women and families, according to the resolution of the Uzbek government on women's employment and development of women's entrepreneurship.
Training courses will be held in November for such women prior to providing concessional loans.
The proposed areas of investment projects include agriculture, industry, services. This way the Uzbek government expects to create around 89,000 women's work places, Norma reports.
