Man sentenced to life in prison for murder of Batken prosecutor

AKIPRESS.COM - Melis Kalykov was sentenced to life in prison for murder of Batken prosecutor Anarbai Mamajakypov on November 27. Kalykov, the ex-head of the capital construction department of Batken region, found guilty of killing the region's prosecutor Mamajakypov on Nov 17, 2018 during joint leisure activities.
Investigation revealed that Kalykov and Mamajakypov, who went for hunting together with other officials of the region on Nov 17, had a quarrel, which rose to a fatal fight.
