Secretaries of Security Councils of Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan sign cooperation plan

AKIPRESS.COM - Secretaries of Security Councils of Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan at the expanded meeting in Bishkek signed the plan on cooperation in 2020-2021, Akorda reported. During the talks, Kalmukhanbet Kasymov and Damir Sagynbayev discussed the important cooperation issues.
They exchanged views on the current and the possible risks and threats of regional security and considered the joint activities against international terrorism and religious extremism.
The talks also focused on fighting against illegal drug trafficking and migration issues.
Following the meeting, the relevant state bodies were given specific tasks.
