Interior Ministry of Kazakhstan concerned of 'poor discipline of drivers'

AKIPRESS.COM - The Ministry of Interior of Kazakhstan appealed to the drivers and pedestrians of the country, Zakon.kz reports.
According to the statistics, 210 road accidents have been registered in the country last week. The Ministry is concerned of the consequences of road accidents that killed 39 people and injured 289 people.
"The main reason for traffic accidents is a poor transport discipline of drivers. Speeding, carelessness and ignoring of the road signs most often lead to the fatal consequences," the statement says.
Due to the weather conditions, the Ministry warned the drivers of simple but very important rules that can prevent any road accidents.
The Ministry also reminded the pedestrians to be careful in winter period.
