Kazakhstan seeks to reduce quota for foreign employees — Ministry of Labor

AKIPRESS.COM - The Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Kazakhstan says that the law on attraction of foreign employees should be toughened, as companies are systematically violating the legislation, Sputnik Kazakhstan reports. The norm on creation of equal conditions, opportunity of state inspectors to annually hold the raids in the companies and reduction of quota for foreign employees is under consideration, the Ministry said.
There are almost 49-50 thousand permits for attraction of foreign citizens in the companies today in Kazakhstan.
The Ministry offers the government to decrease this number twice, Minister Birzhan Nurymbetov said.
The proposal also considers to ban the companies to hire foreign specialists if the country already has such specialists.
