President Jeenbekov meets CSTO Secretary General

AKIPRESS.COM - President Sooronbai Jeenbekov met acting Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization Valery Semerikov on November 25. Kyrgyzstan is interested in increase of the role and importance of CSTO during consideration of regional and international issues, President Jeenbekov said.
Acting CSTO Secretary General Semerikov briefed the President about implementation of the CSTO 2018 November resolution. He thanked Sooronbai Jeenbekov for a successful CSTO Chairmanship, adding all priorities were realized in full.
Valery Semerikov presented the documents that will be considered at the meetings of the CSTO Foreign Ministers, Defense Ministers, Security Council Secretaries and CSTO Summit for 27-8 November 2019 in Bishkek.
