Agricultural sector of Kyrgyzstan develops annually: Deputy Agriculture Minister

AKIPRESS.COM - The agricultural sector in Kyrgyzstan is developing annually, said the Deputy Agriculture Minister Janybek Kerimaliyev. According to him, crop farming industry increases by 2-3 centners per hectare every year. "We work closely with our farmers and update the breeds. Sales are going well," he added.
Kerimaliyev added that the Food safety program and the agriculture development strategy are currently ongoing.
Deputy Agriculture Minister said that the ministry's specialists conduct training courses for farmers from village councils of the regions in the winter period. "We prepare trainers along with non-governmental organizations and work with projects. We train a large number of farmers, because more and more innovative technologies are introduced every year," he said.
