'Kyrgyzstan can be proud of cultural workers' — Sadyk Sher-Niyaz

AKIPRESS.COM - Kyrgyzstan can be proud of cultural workers, MP Sadyk Sher-Niyaz said speaking at the Parliamentary hour (Parlamentskiy chas) TV program on the Russia-24 TV channel. According to him, the country has nothing else to be proud of.
"We meet champions of various tournaments, put on them kalpak (national cap of men). Kazakhs look at this and laugh. There are 18 Olympic champions in Kazakhstan, I don't know, if Kyrgyzstan had such a number of Olympic champions, we would die of pleasure," he said.
Sher-Niyaz said that even Kyrgyzstan is not succeeding in sports, it is worthy in the cinematography, which the country should be proud of.
"We should respect workers of culture and to be proud of them," he added.
