Culture Ministry refuses to demolish dangerous building in Ak-Kula horse racetrack: MP Masabirov

AKIPRESS.COM - The commission sent a letter to government that building in the Ak-Kula horse racetrack should be demolished, said MP Taalaibek Masabirov at the parliament meeting on Nov 21. According to Masabirov, the commission consisted of Seismology Institute, Gosstroi. It was proposed to build new building.
"Culture Ministry said that the building should be reconstructed. The building was build in 1946 and has historical value. However, it is impossible to reconstruct the building due to critical conditions," said lawmaker.
The Emergencies Ministry confirmed information on building's critical condition.
