Korean Exim Bank to provide $74 million for modernization of medical facilities in remote parts of Uzbekistan

AKIPRESS.COM - The Korean Exim Bank will finance supply of equipment for more than 150 medical facilities in remote parts of Uzbekistan.
The quadruple protocol of cooperation on equipping regional medical facilities was signed at the meeting in the Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade of Uzbekistan on November 8 in presence of the representatives of the Exim Bank, Ministries of Finance and Health. The project is estimated at $74 million.
The main goal of the project is modernization of more than 150 medical facilities in the regions of the country, mainly in remote districts and rural areas.
The medical facilities will be supplied with hi-tech equipment, auxiliary medical supplies and tools in a move to improve quality of provided health care services, the press service of the Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade said.
