Jeenbekov attending forum on occasion of 75th anniversary of MFA of Kyrgyzstan

AKIPRESS.COM - President Sooronbai Jeenbekov on November 12 participated in the forum dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Foreign Ministry of Kyrgyzstan and coopperation of Kyrgyzstan with the UN. The head of state noted the history of Kyrgyz diplomacy started from the ancient times.
The Kyrgyz Republic aims to hold a multi-faceted, balanced and pragmatic foreign policy, Jeenbekov said at the forum.
The President reminded that the diplomats and state bodies are tasked to strengthen a new area - the environmental diplomacy.
In this regard, Jeenbekov said that he signed the Paris Agreement signed on December 12, 2015.
During the forum, a number of employees were awarded for diplomatic service.
