Kazakhstan, Turkey discuss defense industry cooperation

AKIPRESS.COM - The 10th meeting of Kazakhstan-Turkey commission for technical and defense cooperation was held in Nur-Sultan from November 5-7.
The sides discussed a range of current and future bilateral cooperation in defense, including investments, mutual supplies and joint production of military products.
The agreement was reached to establish joint production of means of military communication at Kazakhstan Aselsan Engineering factory, to assist launch of the Kazakh ammunition factory, to consider unmanned aerial vehicle assembly projects at the Kazakhstan Aviation Industry enterprise.
Cooperation was also considered in armored vehicles, aviation and sea machinery.
The sides took a note of developing cooperation in defense industry, increased cooperation between defense enterprises for production of military equipment for defense agencies of two countries and third countries.
