President Tokayev receives Chairperson of Uzbekistan's Senate

AKIPRESS.COM - President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev received Chairperson of the Senate of Uzbek Parliament Tanzila Narbayeva, Akorda reported. They discussed bilateral cooperation issues.
The head of state noted that the visit of Narbayeva is important in terms of development of interparliamentary ties and giving an additional impetus to the bilateral relations.
According to Tokayev, bilateral trade between the countries in 2018 reached $2.5 billion. Within 9 months, the trade exceeded the forecast figure.
Narbayeva thanked the Kazakh side for warm welcome and handed over a greeting from President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
