Prime Ministers of Kazakhstan, China hold talks

AKIPRESS.COM - Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Askar Mamin held talks with Premier of China's State Council Li Keqiang on the sidelines of the 18th meeting of the Council of Heads of Government of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization. The joint statement signed between the leaders of Kazakhstan and China during the first state visit of President Tokayev to China in September has confirmed the multifaceted strategic partnership between the countries, Mamin said.
China is the biggest trade partner of Kazakhstan. For 8 months of 2019, the bilateral trade grew by 6% and made $9.2 billion.
The sides discussed commercial, economic, industrial, investment, energy, transport cooperation, as well as collaboration in agricultural processing, e-commerce, development of Astana International Finance Center, use of trans-boundary river resources.
