Lawmaker outraged over delay of construction of Cancer Center in Bishkek

AKIPRESS.COM - MP Natalia Nikitenko at the session of the Ata-Meken party on November 1 raised the issue of construction of the Cancer Center and the Children's Hospital in Bishkek. According to her, the works are not carried out today.
Director of the State Agency for Architecture, Construction and Housing and Communal Services Baktybek Abdiyev said that the construction of the new building of the Cancer Center terminated as new Minister was appointed.
According to him, the government allocated 220 million som for capital repair of the Cancer Center in 2017. The repair work were made and construction of the new building was started but it ceased after new Minister came.
Nikitenko noted that these are social facilities of state importance and urged the Ministry of Finance to allocate funds for works.
