Work on combating drug trafficking conducted improperly – President

AKIPRESS.COM - The work on the combating drug trafficking is conducted insufficiently, said President Sooronbai Jeenbekov on Nov 1. "The results showed that the conducted work differs from expectations, so it is necessary to facilitate the fight against drug-trafficking," President said.
The state service on drug control suspended its activities on Jan 1, 2017. The service was eliminated to reform the law enforcement bodies system.
The Interior Ministry has high index of combating drug-trafficking than state service on drug control. The crime solving rate of the state service on drug control was 18% in 2015, while the Interior Ministry solved about 18% of drug-trafficking crimes.
