Book exhibition dedicated to 100th anniversary of Turdakun Usubaliyev kicks off in Bishkek

AKIPRESS.COM - The national library named after Alykul Osmonov hosted book exhibition and commemoration meeting dedicated to 100th anniversary of public figure Turdakun Usubaliyev on Nov 1.
Turdakun Usubaliyev died at 96. He was former First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Kirghiz SSR. Usubaliyev was born on November 6, 1919, in the village of Kochkor in Naryn region.
Usubaliyev had many state awards including 10 orders. He had the title of the Hero of the Kyrgyz Republic. He authored 10 books and more than 100 articles.
