Capital investments grow by 14% in Kazakhstan

AKIPRESS.COM - The capital investments in Kazakhstan in Jan-Sept 2019 have increased by 14% having reached to 8.6 trillion tenge (about $22 billion), Finprom.kz reports. The volume of investments in 2018 was 11.1 trillion tenge ($28.5 million). The share of investment into equity from GDP then was 18%.
By 2024, the investment level in the main capital is planned to increase up to 30% to GDP.
About 46.9% of capital investments within 9 months of 2019 fall to constrcution works and capital repair of buildings and facilities. The amount of investments equals to 4 trillion tenge ($10.3 billion).
Investments in vehicles, transport facilities, equipment and their repair amounted to 2.7 trillion tenge ($6.9 billion).
