Nazarbayev meets Alexander Lukashenko

AKIPRESS.COM - The former President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev met with President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, who has been in Kazakhstan on a 2-day official visit, the press service of Nazarbayev said. During the talks, the First President of Kazakhstanis underlined the importance of preserving and further development of friendly relations between the countries.
"I am very glad for your visit. We have passed a lot of difficulties together. During these years, we got much lessons from each other. Now the world changes. It's important to keep the results achieved during these time in such a situation," Nazarbayev noted.
The First President expressed a deep respect to the merits of Lukashenko. "I respect you for everything you did for Belarus and your personal qualities. And I will remain your reliable friend," he said.
The Belarusian President, in turn, praised the role of Nazarbayev in strengthening integration associations.
