Osh residents commemorating Batken events victims

AKIPRESS.COM - A meeting-requiem was held in Osh city to commemorate soldiers killed during performance of their duty protecting the south borders of Kyrgyzstan in 1999-2000 years, Turmush reports.
The event was attended by Osh vice-mayor Nurbek Kadyrov, representatives of Defense Ministry, servicemen, veterans and relatives.
Osh vice-mayor presented 50,000 soms to Batken veterans council on behalf of the mayor's office.
379 people from Osh participated in the Batken events.
Today, commemoration events in honor of the Batken events victims are taking place across the country.
