Turkmen President attending sessionof XVIII summit of non-aligned Movement in Baku

AKIPRESS.COM - The President of Turkmenistan emphasized that the active participation of the member states of the Movement in establishment of the global system of energy security played a crucial role in promoting their own economic agenda at the rostrum of the Baku Summit of Heads of State or Government of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) on Oct 25.
The President of Turkmenistan underlined that fair and transparent principles, equal access to energy sources and means of their transportation, the recognition of the interests of suppliers, buyers and transit countries should lay the foundation of the system of energy security.
Turkmenistan has taken serious steps to establish a broad international partnership in the field of comprehensive energy security, he added.
The President of Turkmenistan emphasized that during the 74th session of the UN General Assembly, Turkmenistan planned to submit the draft Resolution, aimed at ensuring reliable and stable energy transit and its role in sustainable development and international cooperation, for the consideration.
