Pipe for fuel smuggling from Kazakhstan to Kyrgyzstan uncovered

AKIPRESS.COM - The state service for fight against economic crimes revealed illegal gasoline transportation activities.
A crime group engaged in fuel smuggling from Kazakhstan to Kyrgyzstan was uncovered in Ken-Bulun village, Alamudun district. A pipe stretching over 3 km was buried underground for smuggling of fuel in the amount of approximately 100 tons a day.
Additionally, a base for storage of smuggled fuel was uncovered. The base had fuel and lubricants tanks, pumps, and other equipment necessary for smuggling.
The exact cost of damage is being calculated, the search for all perpetrators is under way.
