Mongolian cashmere giant Gobi joins EBRD project

AKIPRESS.COM - The Mongolian cashmere manufacturer Gobi Corporation is implementing a project "From Mongolian shepherds to a global brand" in cooperation with the Sustainable Fiber Union of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. The project lasts from 2019 to 2021 and is aimed at precention of land degradation, protection of animals and development of sustainable cashemere industry.
On Octoner 19, Ulaanbaatar hosted a conference on discussion of results of land using programs carried out in Mongolia within the project.
The Gobi Corporation invested 150 thousand euros for these purposes.
