Three activists arrested in Almaty for single-person protests

AKIPRESS.COM - Activists Askhat Zheksebayev, Serik Aitzhanov and Noyan Rakhimzhanov were accused of organization of single-person protests in support of political prisoners on October 12 in Almaty, Vlast.kz reports.
The three were brought to a specialized district court.
A prosecutor offered 7 days of administrative arrest for Rakhimzhanov. The court satisfied the request.
Zheksebayev asked for a different court during the hearing, but the judge denied his claim. He was arrested for 10 days in prison.
