President of Turkmenistan arrives in Japan on working visit

AKIPRESS.COM - President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov's working visit to Japan began on Oct 21, the state news agency of Turkmenistan reported.
The presidential plane landed at Tokyo-Haneda International airport, where the Turkmen leader was met by officials and members of the Turkmen government delegation.
A number of bilateral meetings are planned within the framework of the working visit, during which the prospects for further development of interstate cooperation in a wide range of areas will be discussed.
The head of state noted with satisfaction at the recent meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers that the traditionally friendly Turkmen-Japanese relations are a clear example of equal and mutually beneficial cooperation based on the constant good will of the parties and aimed at achieving concrete results.
President Berdimuhamedov noted that in recent years the interstate dialogue, which is of a trusting and constructive nature, has reached a qualitatively new level and is successfully developing both in the bilateral format and within the framework of regional and international organizations.
