AKIPRESS.COM - Uzbekistan and Turkey intend to develop multimodal transportations from China through Kyrgyzstan, according to the Eurasian Development Bank.
The Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade of Uzbekistan and Turkish State Railways have reached an agreement on cooperation in cargo transportation. At the meeting, the heads of the Turkish State Railways, Urta Osie Trans and Silk Road International discussed the issues of establishing multimodal cargo transportation along the Turkey-Georgia-Azerbaijan-Turkmenistan-Uzbekistan-Kyrgyzstan-China route.
The parties pointed out the importance of taking comprehensive measures to develop the international transport system, which will have a significant impact on the growth of the economies of these countries.
