AKIPRESS.COM - Earthquake of magnitude 3.9 was registered on the territory of Almaty region on October 17 at 6:30 pm local time, Sputnik Kazakhstan said.
The jolt was located 157 km east of Almaty on the territory of Kegen district of Almaty region.
No tremors were reported.
The last quake in Kazakhstan was recorded on October 9 with the epicenter in 140 km east of Almaty.
