National Geographic releases global rankings on state of women around the world, ranks Kyrgyzstan worse than Turkmenistan

AKIPRESS.COM - The National Geographic released the new global ranking Women, Peace, and Security Index.
The Index ranked 167 countries from best to worst in the areas of women's inclusion in society, sense of security, and access to justice.
Norway ranks first followed by Switzerland and Finland. Denmark and Iceland are also in the top five. The last three places in the ranking went to Syria, Afghanistan and Yemen.
Among the Central Asian countries, Kazakhstan ranks 43rd, Turkmenistan 60th, Kyrgyzstan 80th, Uzbekistan 89th, and Tajikistan 96th.
