Forum dedicated to 80th birthday of Kyrgyz actor Suimonkul Chokmorov to be held in Kyrgyzstan

AKIPRESS.COM - A forum of young cinema of the CIS countries "Umut" will be held in Kyrgyzstan on November 6-8 in honor of the 80th birthday of the Kyrgyz actor Suimonkul Chokmorov. The forum is held annually with the aim of promoting new film directors, supporting talanted youth, creating of conditions for development of a dialogue between the CIS countries in the field of cinematography and culture as a whole, attracting youth to the intercultural dialogure process.
The forum's program includes short films and documentaries, discussions, master classes and organization of meetings with the leading film critics and directors.
