AKIPRESS.COM - Sergei Glaziev was appointed a new Russian member of the Board (Minister) of the Eurasian Economic Commission by the decision of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council of October 1, 2019.
He will be responsible for the development of integration, macroeconomics and statistics of the Eurasian Economic Union.
Sergei Glaziev replaced Tatiana Valovaya, a former member of the EEC Board of Integration and Macroeconomics. Her resignation is connected with the appointment the Director-General of the UN Geneva Office. She will succeed Michael Moeller from Denmark.
Nurlan Akmatov represents Kyrgyzstan in the EEC as the Customs Cooperation Minister and Emil Kaikiev as the Energy and Infrastructure Minister.
