Mom's Smile campaign held in Children's Oncology Department in Bishkek

Mom's Smile campaign was held in the Children's Department of the National Oncology Center in Bishkek. Organizers of the campaign - Help the Children - SKD Public Charity Foundation - told.
The foundation organized a real holiday for mothers with their children - patients of the center. Professional make-up artists, stylists and a photographer were invited to the department. The foundation noted that all the masters and the photographer participated in the campaign on a voluntary basis, simply responding to an appeal on the Internet.
"Oncological diseases require a long treatment. A child may stay in a hospital for six months - a year. Mothers are always next to their children. As a rule, they don't have an opportunity to go to a beauty salon, as condition of the kids can change every hour," the foundation noted.
A few years ago, the organization came up with the idea of ​​holding the campaign together with city beauty salons. It has become traditional.
The name "Mom's Smile" speaks for itself. Every woman wants to look beautiful and well-groomed. But mothers of children with cancer, who are in the department, are deprived of these simple pleasures. We really want to evoke a smile on the faces of women, and it is much more pleasant for their children to see happy mothers," said the foundation's president Elena Koneva.
