Russian FM Sergey Lavrov arrives in Kazakhstan

AKIPRESS.COM - Foreign Minister of Russia Sergey Lavrov arrived in Kazakhstan on official visit, Sputnik Kazakhstan reported.
He is holding talks with Kazakh colleague Mukhtar Tleuberdi.
Lavrov congratulated Tleuberdi on his appointment as Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan.
The Russian diplomat believes that the talks in Nur-Sultan will allow to discuss cooperation in the organizations with participation of Russia and Kazakhstan (EAEU, CIS, SCO, UN, OSCE, CICMA).
The Kazakh side underlined the high level of relations between the two countries. Tleuberdi said that the policy of Kazakhstan towards Russia remains the most important.
Reports say that the Ministers will discuss agreements on Caspian status and raise the regional security issues.
Lavrov will be received by President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev during the official visit.
