42 out of 96 filling stations in Bishkek do not meet safety requirement, 2 oil depots are close to residential places

AKIPRESS.COM - 96 filling stations function in Bishkek, 42 of them do not meet the safety requirements, according to the information voiced at the session of the Bishkek city council's commission.
95 filling stations include 3 gas stations, 78 gasoline stations, and 15 complex stations. 32 filling stations do not meet the fire safety requirements, according to the State Technical Safety Inspectorate.
However, after the checks by the working group it was revealed that 57 filling stations do not meet the requirements.
Additionally, there are 8 petroleum storage depots in Bishkek. 2 of them are located near the residential and public areas, which is not safe.
