Kazakhstan working upon returning 14 children from Iraq – MFA

AKIPRESS.COM - Kazakhstan is working upon returning 14 children from Iraq, whose mothers are life sentenced, Foreign Minister Mukhtar Tleuberdi told on Wednesday, Vlast.kz reports. During the OSCE roundtable discussion on Afghanistan, the Kazakh Minister reminded that Kazakhstan in 2019 held a humanitarian operation Zhusan, which allowed to return about 600 people, including 406 children, from fighting zones in Syria.
Tleuberdi underlined that the country is ready to share its experience in this direction.
