Chui region police chief talks with help of speech-generating device

AKIPRESS.COM - Samat Kurmankulov, Chief of the Chui regional police, talks with the help of a speech-generating device due to weak vocal cords, the Ministry of Health told AKIpress on October 8. "Kurmankulov continues receiving treatment in one of the rehabilitation centers in Moscow. A positive dynamics is observed, upper and lower limbs are weak," the Ministry said.
Kurmankulov received severe brain injuries during the failed attempt to storm the residence of ex-President Almazbek Atambayev on August 7 in Koi-Tash. He underwent two surgeries. On August 12, Kurmankulov was transported to the one of the rehabilitation centers in Moscow.
