Over 1,400 drug offenses made in Kyrgyzstan in 2018

AKIPRESS.COM - 1,424 drug crimes were committed on the territory of Kyrgyzstan in 2018, said Prosecutor General of Kyrgyzstan Otkurbek Jamshitov during the session of SCO Prosecutor Generals in Bishkek on Oct 1.
Over 16 tons of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and precursors were seized from trafficking.
Over 15 special operations were held in line with the SCO agreement on suppression of the activities of international organized drug groups in cooperation with SCO partners, in particular Russia, Kazakhstan and Tajikistan.
