‘Friendship’ bridge opens at Kyrgyz-Tajik border

AKIPRESS.COM - The opening ceremony of "Friendship" bridge kicked off on Kyrgyz-Tajik border of Leilek district in the Batken region, Turmush reports. The event was attended by the governor Akram Madumarov, chairman of Sogda region Radjobboi Akhmadzoda and number of officials and locals.
Madumarov noted that the bridge will create the conditions for the strengthening of friendship between two nations and added that ancestors of two nations always live in the harmony.
The eldelies of two countries also called on people for solidarity and gave their blessings.
