PM says Chairman of Social Fund must resign for telling about risks with payment of pensions

AKIPRESS.COM - Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Muhamedkaliy Abilgaziyev said that Meder Irsaliyev must step down as Chairman of the Social Fund for his statement that there are risks that pensions will be unpaid.
"You say to people that there are risks with payment of pensions. You must resign for such words. Minster cannot say such words, only experts or analysts can say that. If you have risks, you must say it here and we will consider the matter and allocate needed funds," PM said.
He vowed that all payments and pensions will be paid on time.
"Social support must be given to those who genuinely need it, not to those who have thousands of cattle and luxury cars," he added.
