Kyrgyzstan demolishes control tower on border with Tajikistan

AKIPRESS.COM - A control tower at the Maksat border post in Leilek district of Batken region on border with Tajikistan was demolished.
The control tower was fired by Tajik soldiers with a rocket-propelled grenade launcher during the border clashes on September 16.
Chairman of the State Border Service Ularbek Sharsheev said earlier that the control tower was badly damaged.
The tower was erected in 2014.
