Parliament discusses offensive statement of Russian TV presenter

AKIPRESS.COM - The Foreign Ministry should respond to the statement of Russian TV presenter Andrei Malakhov, said MP Kojobek Ryspayev at the parliament meeting on Sept 26.
The TV host's words about Kyrgyzstanis sparked an outcry among Kyrgyz social media users, he said.
"During the TV program, the host said that Kyrgyz people barely survive for $10 and will do everything for $100,000. The program was dedicated to deadly car crush in Moscow involving a Kyrgyz taxi driver. The investigation is under way, the Kyrgyzstani citizen was arrested. Malakhov openly said that entire Kyrgyz village can be bought for $100,000. The Foreign Ministry of Kyrgyzstan, the Embassy of Kyrgyzstan in Russia should react. We will give official order," said Ryspayev.
