Lawmaker appeals to President to mark anniversary of Suimonkul Chokmorov on proper level

AKIPRESS.COM - It is necessary to celebrate the 80th anniversary of USSR People's Artist Suimonkul Chokmorov on the government level, said MP Ryskeldi Mombekov at the parliament meeting on Sept 26. "The government entrusted this issue to Culture Ministry, however ministry readdressed issue to cinematography department. The outstanding actors as Natalia Arinbasarova, Ali Khamrayev and others were invited for event. However no funds were allocated for event. I want to address to President to consider this issue," said Mombekov.
