AKIPRESS.COM - Karakol town of the Issyk-Kul region held a campaign aimed at preventing non-communicable diseases, Turmush reports. The family medicine doctors conducted the awareness-raising campaign on markets and shopping malls.
"Unfortunately, the number of people suffering from heart diseases and stroke is growing. We want to prevent these diseases. Doctors checked blood pressure, weight, etc. The campaign participants received consultations and some of them were sent to hospitals for further examination," said one of the doctors.
