Tokayev meets with top businessmen in New York

AKIPRESS.COM - President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev upon conclusion of his official trip to the U.S. met with heads of large American companies, the press service of the President said. The roundtable discussion was attended by heads of such companies as Royal Dutch Shell, JPMorgan Chase & Co., Tyson Fresh Meats, Plug'n Play, Amazon Web Services.
During the talks, the President underlined that the main task in the work with investors is preserving stability and predictability. He assured the American businessmen that his country will continue improving investment climate by providing rule of law, immunity of contracts an protection of intellectual property right.
In his speech, Tokayev voiced the potential in the spheres of energy, agriculture, finances and human capital, as well as transport and logistics opportunities of the country.
