Number of police officers in border areas of Batken region increases in 2019

AKIPRESS.COM - A number of law enforcement officers have been increased in border districts of Batken region from the beginning of this year, Deputy Minister of Interior Pamir Asanov told a press conference in Bishkek. Some 43 officers from the central office of the Ministry of Interior, city and police departments of cities and regions were allocated to the territorial law enforcement bodies in Batken region during this period to improve the situation in border areas of the region, according to him.
A number of local youth liaison officers, investigators on crimes and police control rooms was also increased for these purposes in Batken.
