Russian will remain official language in Kyrgyzstan, president says

AKIPRESS.COM - Russian language will keep its status of official language in Kyrgyzstan, said President Sooronbai Jeenbekov in his speech at the solemn event on the occasion of 30th anniversary of granting of Kyrgyz a status of the state language in Kyrgyzstan.
Russian language is a gateway to the global culture, science and knowledge, he said. The role of Russian language in our society will be as significant as today, Jeenbekov said.
