Ombudsman’s Office staff participate in 1,203 court sessions in 2018

AKIPRESS.COM - The employees of Ombudsman's Office participated in 1,203 court sessions in 2018, said Ombudsman Tokon Mamytov at the parliament meeting on Sept 17. According to him, 708 appeals were considered on the site, which makes 25% of the total number of appeals of citizens.
The officials were brought to justice for violation of human's rights due to the intervention of Ombudsman.
2,841 out of 3,237 appeals received in 2018 were executed.
As of December 31, the departments of Ombudsman's Office have 396 appeals under the consideration, including 302 in the central office, 94 in the regional representations, which makes 15 of the total appeals.
