Chess player from Kyrgyzstan wins silver of Asian Championship

Bishkek, Sept. 17, 2019. / Kabar /. Athlete from Kyrgyzstan Aziz Umarbekov won the silver medal at the Asian Championship in Senior Chess in Kazakhstan, the Chess Federation reported.
The tournament was held on Sept. 8 - 18 in Almaty.
Umarbekov performed in the age category 50+. In blitz competitions, he scored eight points out of nine, becoming the silver winner of the competition.
