Veterans of Kyrgyz Armed Forces called on people to avoid provocations on Kyrgyz-Tajik border clashes

AKIPRESS.COM - The veterans of Kyrgyz Armed Forces called on the youth to avoid any provocations on Kyrgyz-Tajik border clash situation. The former Security Council Secretary, ex-Vice Chairman of the State National Security Committee Marat Imankulov noted that the issur with the disputed area on the Kyrgyz-Tajik border has not been resolved for many years.
Imankulov addressed to Tajikistan authorities and called on to resolve the issues by diplomatic means.
"We should create conditions for activities of commission on delimitation and demarcation of the border. We are ready to meet with the residents on the border. We must not escalate the situation," he said.
Another veteran Ahunbai Koshoi also called on the authorities of two states to resolve the issue as soon as possible.
